Lara Gallagher
Lara Gallagher is a sound and performance artist from Dublin Ireland. She mostly creates live electronic performances and mixed media sculptures. Her main style of work centres around free improvisation. In her use of improvisation, she attempts to use her auditory and visual processing systems to interpret and respond to her surrounding environments. The complex journey of deliberate improvisation is something she tries, to access what may be beyond her conscious awareness or control. As a theatre graduate she also employs techniques used in theatre such as semiotics and psychoacoustics in her performance and compositional work through the use of signifiers and exploring the relationship between specific sounds and memory. Due to the dramatic influences within her education, she was engulfed by the practices of performance art and using the body as medium. Through this she seeks to blur the lines between the role of the creator, performer and spectator. She strives to create work that opens a kind of communication between these roles so that human connections and reactions can be explored.

The Feedback Ensemble
Consists of a group of performers (including Wei Kang Beh, Sid Talukdar, Dario Paris, Henri Falk and Louis Higgins) who explore audio feedback systems in real time. Each performer operating their own system of mobile devices and moving individually through the space, creates a strange, spatialised soundworld without any distinct source signal. The interaction of sounds between the performers also creates an intricate feedback network which further blurs the lines between source, emitter and receiver, and forms a dense mesh of unrecognisable amplified ether.
Fag Town String Band
Fag Town String Band are a bunch o' queers living in Berlin but from elsewhere who play old-time folk, country punk, murder ballads, songs about alienation, addiction and how the fascists are going to lose. with a transition section in between replays of the piece.
